H1N1 Influenza
Updated: November 23, 2009

Effective today, the H1N1 Immunization Clinics are again open to all Albertans over the age of six months.  There are now seven clinics in Calgary:

  1. MacEwan Student Centre Loft, University of Calgary
  2. South Calgary Health Centre, 31 Sunpark Plaza SE
  3. Stampede Grounds, Grandstand
  4. Avenida Bonavista Shopping Centre, 12445 Lake Fraser Dr SW
  5. Brentwood Village Mal, 302, 3630 Brentwood Rd NW
  6. EMS Whitehorn, 100, 3705 – 35th St NE
  7. Richmond Road Diagnostic Treatment Centre (the old Alberta Children’s Hospital), 1820 Richmond Rd SW

Although the second wave of the illness seems to be past its peak in Calgary, experts are still expecting another wave or more in coming months and are still recommending that everyone get the vaccination.

Please check the following website for clinic dates and times and further updates: www.albertahealthservices.ca.

Our thanks to everyone for continuing to follow the guidelines and especially to all those who have been sick and have stayed home and protected the rest of us.  Best wishes on a full and speedy recovery!
