adopt-a-Lightning Program
The life of a St. Mary’s student-athlete takes exceptional character and perseverance: classes, work, practice, travel, games, homework, studying, volunteering, all while maintaining an above-average GPA. Many also hold part-time jobs. St. Mary’s proudly produces well-rounded, committed “Star” athletes who truly understand how to succeed.
To help student athletes financially, and to sustain a quality intercollegiate athletics program, we have created a program called Adopt-A-Lightning. For your gift of $350 we will match you with a specific student-athlete. You will receive a picture and update from them personally on their progress. Your generous gift will allow your chosen student to excel and “win.”
