Entrance signs symbolize St. Mary's is here to stay
Sitting prominently on either side of the Bannister Road entrance and at the entryway off 146 Ave SE, St. Mary's three new entrance signs pay homage to the 100-year history of the former Fr. Lacombe site and establish a sense of permanence as St. Mary's nears its 25th anniversary in 2011.

Surprise piano donation thrills students in the music program
Something was amiss at the annual St. Mary’s spring concert last April. It wasn’t the meticulous preparation of the 30-member choir as they began to sing. Nor was it the accompanying orchestra. The stage was set, the audience assembled. It was something less obvious - the piano.

Fr. McGivney Hall fundraising goal - we're so close!
With the recent donation of $50,000 from the Knights Of Columbus Supreme Council
in Connecticut, the Fr. Michael J. McGivney Hall Fundraising Campaign is just $7,000 short of the $220,000 needed to rename the Midlands Building after Knights founder Fr. Michael J. McGivney.

New president to lead St. Mary's University College as of July 1
St. Mary’s University College is pleased to announce the selection of Dr. Gerry Turcotte as the institution’s third president effective July 1, 2011. Dr. Turcotte will take over from Dr. Terry Downey who is completing his third term at the end of June.
